🏈 Scouting Report: Jan. 8-12

Hi BettrNation family!! We hope your New Year is off to a fantastic start! Now that playoff football has started both in the NFL and in the semi-pros college, we are looking forward to some quality, entertaining matchups for the next few weeks 🙌, which should help stave off any post-holiday, winter dreariness 🙁 that may be setting in now. With that said, the winter doldrums hit some NFL coaches in full force this week, as several coaches are no jobless and in search 🔍 for employment (although some of them - like Coach Harbaugh and Coach Stefanski - may not be unemployed for long!).

For those of you with teams in the playoff race (whether in CFP or NFL), we hope you enjoy the ride 🎢 and that, at least for those underdogs (or “small market teams” like the Jags), your Cinderella story 📖 continues for at least another week. Even if your favorite team isn’t in the playoffs now, there is at least some room for optimism because, as in every off-season, the potential for next year is limitless (so long as, for college football, your team can afford the players in the transfer portal 💰).

We hope all of your New Year’s resolutions are off to great starts and that - like your bets this weekend - they come to fruition just like you planned! And remember friends, in 2026 and beyond, don’t gamble; bet bettr!
