Hi BettrNation family! Congrats to those of you who were cheering for (and/or betting on 🤑) the Chicago Bears yesterday, as they pulled off a miracle 🪄 comeback against the Packers last night to take first place in the NFC North! Similarly, Alabama turned the tide against Oklahoma on Friday night, erasing a 17-point deficit to punch their ticket 🎫 to the next round of the CFP! If those games (or even the Miami-Texas A&M game) are any indication of what we have in store for today, then let’s sit back and enjoy some quality football today 👏
However, for as good as those games were yesterday (and Friday), the other two CFP games this weekend were not so competitive 😒 While we congratulate Tulane and JMU on their fantastic seasons, the lopsided matchups against Ole Miss and Oregon, respectively, do make us wonder 🤔 if there will be changes to the CFP selection process next year. It took all of 60 seconds in each of those games to see that both Tulane and JMU were (significantly) outmatched. Each of their defenses were torn through faster than my kids’ gifts 🎁 on Christmas morning! Hopefully the NFL contests today - and the remaining CFP matchups - are more competitive and entertaining!
Here’s to hoping you feel as good about your bets today as Ole Miss and Oregon fans did after seeing their teams dominate yesterday 🥳 And remember friends - don’t gamble; bet bettr!
