🏈 Scouting Report: Dec. 18-21

Hi BettrNation family! The wait is almost over - not just for the upcoming holiday season but for some PLAYOFF FOOTBALL 🙌 THE CFP starts tomorrow with Alabama taking on Oklahoma in a rematch from the regular season! Then, on Saturday, not only do we get to enjoy (hopefully at least one competitive 🙏) CFP game, but we also have a few NFL games on the docket for that day too, including a consequential matchup between Green Bay and Chicago. Speaking of the NFL, a number of games this weekend have HUGE playoff implications, including a contest between the Bucs and Panthers for the lead of the NFC South and the Jags versus the Broncos for positioning at the top of the AFC bracket.

While some teams are preparing for a postseason run, others are probably starting to plan their offseason vacations (which, given the cold weather the last week 🥶, we hope is some place warm and sunny🌞)! Just like those of us scrambling to get some last-minute Christmas gifts 🫣, some NFL teams are scrambling to find out what they have on their roster as they get ready for the offseason. Just take a look at those Miami Dolphins 🐬 down in South Beach, which just announced that they are benching Tua in favor of rookie Quinn Ewers for the last few weeks. (I guess Miami owner Stephen Ross doesn’t mind setting some money on fire given the guaranteed money that Tua is owed if Miami moves on from him! 😮)
