🏈 Scouting Report: Dec. 11-14

Hey BettrNation family! The CFP bracket has been set 🙌 but we do have to wait a week ☹️ before enjoying those initial first round games, which include a notable rematch between Alabama-Oklahoma as well as an intriguing matchup between Miami-Texas A&M. Thanks to the Duke upset over Virginia last week, the CFP first round slate also includes two Group of 5️⃣ contenders (JMU and Tulane) taking on Oregon and Ole Miss, respectively. Notwithstanding the (perhaps very very small) possibility of those Davids conquering their respective Goliaths💪, many commentators are suggesting that the CFP selection process be adjusted to ensure that truly the 12 best teams in the country be invited to the CFP, and leading that charge is Notre Dame, which, if you haven’t heard, is quite upset about their snub 🤬(and their ire has largely been directed at the ACC, which itself was likely sweating during the CFP Selection Show 😅 ).

Even though we will have to wait until next weekend to enjoy the CFB playoffs, there are a number of HUGE matchups this weekend in the NFL (not to mention the other sports going on, including the NBA, NHL, and CBB)! Whether you are glued to that BUF-NE matchup or you are focused on seeing whether Patrick Mahomes can pull off a miracle 🪄 and get KC into the playoffs, there will be plenty to watch this weekend (and bet on, if you are so inclined 😉).
